QuickView for FLT4 (gene)

Gene Symbol:
FLT4 Homo sapiens Homo sapiens
Full name:
fms related tyrosine kinase 4
Synonyms:
FLT-4, FLT41, LMPH1A, PCL, VEGFR-3, VEGFR3, vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 3, fms-like tyrosine kinase 4, tyrosine-protein kinase receptor FLT4
Genomic Location:
Chr 5: 179961112-180009206
Description:
This gene encodes a tyrosine kinase receptor for vascular endothelial growth factors C and D. The protein is thought to be involved in lymphangiogenesis and maintenance of the lymphatic endothelium. Mutations in this gene cause hereditary lymphedema type IA.
