Journal de gynécologie, obstétrique et biologie de la reproduction 2008 JunUterine sarcomas are rare tumours with poor prognosis. The most common presenting symptoms are vaginal bleeding or pelvic pain. We present a case of uterine carcinosarcoma diagnosed retrospectively after surgical specimen analysis in a 69-year-old patient presenting gastro-intestinal complaints. At the time of diagnosis, the patient was in FIGO, stage IV.
