Analysis of post-traumatic lethal outcomes among patients who died in Astrakhan hospitals (based on materials of the Astrakhan regional forensic medical bureau)].

The author analyses lethal outcomes of mechanical injuries registered in medical and preventive facilities of the city of Astrakhan depending on the victim's age, sex, duration of hospital stay, definitive clinical and forensic medical diagnosis. The lethal outcome was used as a quality-of-medical-care endpoint. The analysis included materials of the Astrakhan regional forensic medical bureau for the period from 1990 till 1999.
