Ultrasonics sonochemistry 2011 JanIn(OH)(3) and In(2)O(3) nano-structures have been synthesized from the reaction of In(CH(3)COO)(3) and sodium hydroxide by a sonochemical method. The effects of reaction conditions, such as the concentration of the In(3+) ion, aging time and power of the ultrasonic device have been investigated. The In(2)O(3) and In(OH)(3) nano-structures were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), Thermal Gravimetric Analysis (TGA), Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) and Energy-dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX) technique.
