Allergic diseases of the lungs may affect the airways, the pulmonary parenchyma and the pulmonary vessels. The most relevant representatives are allergic asthma, hypersensitivity pneumonitis, bronchopulmonary aspergillosis and the Churg-Strauss syndrome.
