To establish the qualitative and quantitative method for abietic acid in fake Myrrha. The abietic acid was identified by TLC, HPLC-PAD and HPLC-MS. Abietic acid was detected in 18 batches, which content was 1.16 to 73.99 (mg/g). The method can meet the requirements of identification and determination.
