Japanese journal of radiology 2013 AprWe present a case of sclerosing Sertoli cell tumor of the testis that was examined preoperatively by magnetic resonance imaging. A 28-year-old male presented to the urology department of our hospital complaining of a painless mass in the right testicle that had been present for the past 2 years. Levels of the tumor markers AFP, hCG, and LDH were all within the standard ranges. T2-weighted MR images showed a well-demarcated lobular hypointensity 15 mm in size in the right testis. Contrast enhancement of this mass after gadolinium administration was homogeneous, with slightly stronger enhancement than the normal testis tissue. Tumor enucleation was performed, and the tumor was diagnosed as a sclerosing Sertoli cell tumor.
