Teaching and learning in medicine 2013Medical journal articles often contain imprecise and inaccurate statistical methods and terminology that inhibit effective teaching and learning in medical education. Examples are used for ten flaws dealing with research design and methods and statistical analysis. If these inaccurate and inappropriate usages are avoided, teaching and learning in medical student and graduate medical education will be enhanced, and subsequently the health care of patients will be improved.
