Using the carboxin resistance gene from Pleurotus eryngii as a selective marker, we introduced foreign DNA into the arthroconidia of Hypsizygus marmoreus through Agrobacterium-mediated transformation. The function of the exogenous GUS (β-glucuronidase) gene driven by the CaMV35S promoter was detected in the transformants. Copyright © 2020 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
