The aim of this study was to adapt the validity and reliability of the Paternal Antenatal Attachment Scale (PAAS) for Turkish fathers. The sample of the methodological study consisted of 580 father candidates. In the study, as a result of the exploratory factor analysis, it was determined that the PAAS consisted of 16 items, eight items in the "quality of attachment" subdimension and eight items in the "time spent in attachment mode" subdimension. It supported the 2-factor scale structure the confirmatory factor analysis. Cronbach's α was found to be .82 in the total scale. In addition, item-total correlation and test-retest analysis of the scale had a high correlation. Based on the study results, the Turkish language version of the PAAS is valid and reliable. © 2020 Wiley Periodicals LLC.
