Penile verrucous carcinoma exhibits a high potential for recurrence. Traditional treatment for penile verrucous carcinoma is radical surgery. Extensive resection generally leads to the loss of the patient's sexual function and limits the tolerance for additional additional surgical resection. Herein, we present a case of penile verrucous carcinoma, who achieved complete remission after 3 sessions of PDT and 6 months Acitretin. There was no recurrence at 12 months of follow-up. This case suggests that photodynamic therapy combined with acitretin is a treatment option for penile verrucous carcinoma. Copyright © 2020. Published by Elsevier B.V.
