Blastomycosis is a rare condition affecting specific endemic areas in North America. Blastomycosis is characterized primarily as a pulmonary disease but can disseminate to affect other organ systems. Osteomyelitis due to disseminated blastomycosis is a rare condition with limited functional reconstructive options in a young adult.
