Treatment of post-traumatic temporomandibular joint ankylosis is still a challenge. A modified technique that included surgery navigation technique, ultrasonic osteotome, bovine acellular dermal matrix, and abdominal dermis fat transplantation, was applied to treat a case of post-traumatic temporomandibular joint ankylosis. A 11-year-old girl with right temporomandibular joint bony ankylosis received surgical treatment in our department. Immediately restoration of functions and prevention of re-ankylosis have been achieved. Therefore, this case report demonstrated the safety and effectiveness of this modified technique in the management of temporomandibular joint ankylosis surgery. Copyright © 2022 by Mutaz B.
