Adolescents with chronic hepatitis C might be good candidates for direct-acting antiviral therapy.

Three Japanese adolescents with chronic hepatitis C were treated by direct-acting antivirals (DAAs). No adverse events or laboratory abnormalities were observed during and after DAA therapy, and a sustained virological response was achieved in all cases.
