    Antibiotic resistance among pathogenic bacteria is one of the most severe global challenges. It is predicted that over ten million lives will be lost annually by 2050. Phage therapy is a promising alternative to antibiotics. However, the ease of development of phage resistance during therapy is a concern. This review focuses on the possible ways to overcome phage resistance in phage therapy. © 2024.
