The coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic disrupted in-person learning for adolescents and young adults across the world. Inequities in learning outcomes were primarily caused by digital inequalities. Social needs of adolescent and young adult (AYA) emerged during the pandemic and school is a key part of supporting AYA social health.
