Congenital extrahepatic portosystemic shunts (CEPS) are rare anomalies connecting the portal system to the inferior vena cava. This report discusses a 10-year-old boy with Type II c CEPS, presenting cyanosis and dyspnea. Surgical ligation resulted in significant improvement in symptoms.
